Singing Connections – Leek

Approach have partnered with Haregate Community Centre to deliver FREE singing sessions for people with dementia and their carers.

Research suggests that listening to or singing songs can provide emotional and behavioural benefits for people with dementia.

Musical memories are often preserved in dementia because key brain areas linked to musical memory are relatively undamanged by the disease, allowing people to reconnect and enjoy these sessions.

For more information on our singing sessions, please call 01782 214999 or email enquiries@approachstaffordshire.co.uk
