Approach to Launch NEW Memory Café in Cobridge

We are pleased to announce we are launching a new Memory Café in Cobridge!

We are launching a new Café support group for those caring for someone with memory issues in and around the Cobridge area.

Our new Cobridge Memory Café will run from Angel at Austin’s, 240 Waterloo Road, Cobridge. The café will operate on the last Friday of every month with the first café taking place on Friday 29^th March 2019.

Our friendly and informal cafés offer free and confidential support to anyone caring for someone with memory issues. The numbers of local residents living with memory issues is constantly increasing and we provide on-going support to their carers to enable them to live well during their journey. It’s a great environment where people can chat to others who understand what it is really like to care for someone and an opportunity for carers to take some time out for themselves.

This café is FREE for anyone who requires advice and support in caring for a family member or friend who is living with memory issues. Prior booking is not essential and we welcome people to pop in at any time throughout the morning.

If you have been seeking for support in your caring role, please come and join us and let us show you how we can help you.

Thanks to the generosity of Councillor Pervez (Moorcroft ward) and Cobridge CIC, who have donated essential funds towards the cafe. This service would not have been possible without their kindness.
