About Approach Dementia Support
Approach Dementia Support is an independent charity which provides person centred care to improve the wellbeing of people diagnosed with dementia in our heartland of North Staffordshire. We have a Strategic Alliance with the Douglas Macmillan Hospice to support people living with dementia and their carers through their journey from diagnosis to end of life.
Approach Dementia Support has been providing specialist support for people with dementia and their carers since 1981. Our charity provides person centred care to improve the wellbeing of people diagnosed with dementia and we believe that everyone affected by the disease should be supported to live their life the way they choose. Our team can offer guidance and advice on the telephone, at our carers Support Groups, and our carer training courses. We offer one to one dementia support opportunities and dementia activity sessions.
Our support is available all year round and we can be contacted Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am – 4:30pm by telephoning 01782 214999. We can also be contacted via email at this address: enquiries@approachstaffordshire.co.uk
