Approach to provide Specialist Dementia Day Opportunities at Maple West
We have recently moved our Kidsgrove day opportunities group to another purpose built extra care facility, Maple West in Chell.
To celebrate this very positive move we will be holding an open morning from the venue on Friday 23rd March 2018- 11.00am-12.30pm
The open morning will allow us to demonstrate our day opportunities service and the care and support we provide for individuals with dementia. The move to Maple West and its facilities which lends itself to the nature of our work will be instrumental in supporting the groups independence and enhancing their well being. Day Opportunities from Maple West will then operate every Friday 10.00am-3.00pm.
In attendance to officially mark the move to Maple West will be Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, Councillor Ross Irving, as well as Councillor Lillian Dodd.
This event is open to anyone who would like to find our more about the day opportunities service provided by Approach. Our Chief Executive, Service Performance Manager, Manager of Care Services and Day Opportunities staff will be on hand to provide you with more information on all aspects of this service.
