Dementia Care Charity Approach is appealing to donate unwanted Christmas presents to help them fundraise.
Donate Your Unwanted Christmas Presents to Approach
A YouGov poll found that 44% of people either forget or throw away unsuitable Christmas gifts. Of the 44% over a third simply left them in a cupboard and forgot about them.
Approach would look at reselling or raffling off any gifts donated to them and use any funds raised to support people affected by dementia in the local area.
Least Wanted Presents?
A recent survey discovered the top five gifts that people were least keen to be gifted at Christmas. They were Selfie Sticks, Musical Socks, Bathroom Scales, Set of Saucepans and Animal Slippers
Rob Ledgar, Marketing Manager at Approach said “Christmas is a wonderful time and receiving a present is a great experience but occasionally we get things that may not feel right for us. Rather than throw them away or clutter the house with them, why not drop them off to Approach in Shelton? We’ll look to raise funds to support people affected by dementia with your unwanted Christmas gifts.”
Presents can be dropped off at the head office of Approach during office hours. The address is Approach, Cauldon Chambers, 10 Stoke Road, Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 2DP
