New Specialist Dementia Day Opportunities Group Launch At Oak Priory Abbey Hulton Weds 29-11-17
We held the launch of our new Day Opportunities Group in the brand new, purpose-built retirement village, Oak Priory in Castle Grove, Abbey Hulton on Wednesday 29th November.
Our group moved into the venue earlier in the year and are already thoroughly enjoying the new environment. Stoke-on-Trent Deputy Lady Mayor, Councillor Lilian Dodd attended the morning to cut the cake and officially open the venue with our CEO Will Boyce.
This excellent new facility has a village hall and a craft room, which we use for a range of activities to stimulate our service users. The rooms are bright with modern and comfortable furniture. There is also a fantastic restaurant at the facility where our group visit for their lunch to create a wonderful dining experience. There is also a shop at Oak Priory which some of our group love to use to pick up their morning paper. Oak Priory and the facilities it offers has helped to support the groups independence and well being.
The group operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am and 3pm. For more information on our day opportunities service, please contact our head office on 01782 214999 or head over to our Day Opportunities page.
