Fearless Friends Take on Born Survivor Challenge to Raise Funds for Approach

Thank you to Liz Finneron from You’ll See Life Coaching who has rounded up a few of her brave clients and friends to get muddy and raise funds for Approach!

The team are taking on the gruelling Born Survivor obstacle course on Saturday 11th May and are asking the community to kindly sponsor their efforts.

The 10km course involves over 30 demanding military obstacles set in the picturesque location of Capesthorne Hall, Macclesfield. Of course it wouldn’t be a Born Survivor challenge without a whole lot of mud thrown in…It’s set to be a tough yet exciting challenge for the team!

Liz said: “I first heard of Approach through my parents as my Father has Dementia. They have visited the morning cafes a couple of times too. It’s hard to see my Dad being affected by the condition and really tough on my Mum as a Carer. I have my own Life Coaching Business and I have pulled a team of my clients and friends to take on Born Survivor as it’s important to stay healthy and have a goal. Born Survivor demands a strong mind and it is a great team event. I thought it would also be a great way to raise some funds for Approach along the way and I feel as if I’m creating something positive.”

If you would like to support the team, head over to their JustGiving page- https://bit.ly/2J2DEMH

All funds raised will ensure families like Liz’s can continue to access the very best dementia support.
